I think it was the OnRoute at Bowmanville where the waste containers inside and outside the facility were clearly marked “landfill”. I thought I’d grabbed a pic, but instead have grabbed this one from a recycling bin company that must have supplied the containers – it looks like the same location. It’s a great nudge, maybe a last chance for folks to make the connection of how they’re disposing of something and the implications of that. There’s probably very few people who consider that adding to landfill volume is a good thing.
