Catching up today again on a couple of ride videos – the second of which (May 9) is actually the first time I’ve got Natalie on camera on her bike. We left the house at the same on our bikes to head to the office. I know I’ve written a lot about it, but I still love that the e-assist and the opening of the Chief William Commanda bridge have enabled the conversion of another commuting cyclist. Like other federal (well, quasi-federal) employees, she’s back at the office three or four days a week, and looks forward to riding those now that temperatures are pleasant. Technology and infrastructure for the win! The kiss cam is at 1:47. I’m looking forward to a morning when I’ve got some give in my schedule to ride in all the way to her workplace – I’m just maybe a kilometer, kilometer and a half further.
