Into the soil

I’m sure it only feels like I spent all night on the phone and texting, but I was glad to get a late-day chance to do a little gardening prep. The marigolds were showing some fairly significant sprouts and the Gold Medals were coming along, so I’ve transferred the seeds in their paper towel wraps out of the freezer bags and into soil. I’ve done the same with the Aunt Ruby Yellows, although they’re not showing the same level of sprouting yet. I’ve held aside a batch to continue sprouting in the bags. Fingers crossed these take root and I start to see some perfect little seedlings in the next few days! I have a cover for this tray that will keep them nice and moist while they establish.
