A Mastodon user recently suggested I try a non-YouTube video platform, video.urbanists. It’s an open source platform that, as far as I can inexpertly tell, offers peer hosting. I’m always game to try new things.
Today’s ride was significantly warmer than the past few days. Somewhat surprising to me, I caught a scooter at one point behind me. My scooter is away for the winter, and I’d be curious how this rider handles the ice and snow.
I’ll probably keep posting to YouTube as well. As I understand it the video platform is hosted by volunteers/activists and I’m reasonably sure they don’t need multiple 4K videos a week hogging their hosting space. But I’ll post the occasional more interesting ride to the site. Enjoy!
