12% vinegar is an amazing product. Spray it directly on weeds in your patio stones to quickly clean those up. It works quickly and effectively. More impressive is how it works with “magic paste” in your bathroom. To clean even the grungiest toilet, sink or bathtub, first whip up a batch of magic paste. Use three or four tablespoons of baking soda and mix that with dish soap to make a paste or cream. Don’t be afraid to make lots. It keeps and is great on aluminum, chrome and plastic finishes as well to polish those up and leave them gleaming. Mix up a spray bottle with maybe 1/4 vinegar and 3/4 water. Spray the solution over the surface you’re cleaning like a scummy, grimy bathtub, then wipe the tub down with a couple of dollops of magic paste. The dirt and grime will release quickly to be rinsed away with plain water. You can buy 12% vinegar in refillable bulk from a zero-waste store, as well as dish soap and baking soda, and you’ll always have lots of packaging-free cleaning product on hand for even tough jobs.
